What is the Diploma in Integrative EFT Therapy?
The Integrative EFT Diploma brings counselling skills and EFT together. The culmination of decades of our own training, practice and teaching therapeutic approaches, this unique training journey integrates the magical tool of Emotional Freedom Techniques with a solid foundation in Counselling Skills and Person-Centred theory and practice.
This 10-month theoretical, experiential and self-developmental training which includes:
EFT Level 1 Basic Foundational Skills training
EFT Level 2 Practitioner training
Training in the Person-centred approach
Counselling skills
Trauma-informed practice
Building a successful, ethical practice
Self-reflective experiential personal development
The Diploma offers students a route from beginner to a safe, competent, confident and fearless EFT Therapist.
With a significant experiential and self-developmental grounding, this course takes the student on a voyage of discovery and evolution. Every client is unique, and every student is unique. This is central to all of our trainings. But it is even more true of our Diploma. Rather than teaching ‘the way’ to practise therapy, we nurture and support our students, through the challenge of working on themselves and of bringing themselves to the therapeutic role AS themselves, we encourage them to create their own integrative model or paradigm, to find ‘their way’. In other words we support our students to BE themselves … and to be a real, authentic therapist.
Who is the Diploma in Integrative EFT Therapy for?
the Diploma in Integrative EFT Therapy is for those who are seeking a deeper, more coherent and integrated therapy training, beyond the brief tool-based, ‘coaching’-type of EFT training currently on the market. This complete, thorough and ethically-focused and trauma-informed training is for newcomers as well as those with experience in therapeutic practice.
What do you need?
This training is suitable for anyone with an interest in training to be a practising therapist.
You need to be:
a beginner, curious about the human condition with a natural non-possessive love of people;
respectful of diversity and individual difference;
open to self-reflection and challenge; and willing to work deeply on yourself;
strong enough to be vulnerable and brave enough to be your authentic Self;
humble enough to prioritise ‘being’ over ‘knowing’ and avoid playing the ‘expert’;
hungry to learn something new and ready to examine and revise assumptions.
How do you qualify?
As this is an integrative EFT course, the assessment will include EFT International's Level 2 post course practitioner certification process and an additional multi-factorial assessment in counselling skills including: live observation, a written exam, an essay, excerpts from the student’s learning journal, a student portfolio including peer-assessment elements.
The successful candidate will receive an EFT Level 2 Practitioner Certificate and a Diploma in Integrative EFT.
Aside from our usual EFT International accreditation, we are currently undertaking the challenge of having our Diploma assessed for accreditation by the UK’s principal psychotherapy and counselling central awarding body.
